Since 1900
In the heart of the Saint-Tropez peninsula
What a great year 1900 was: remember, it was the year when the first zeppelin was seen flying, the year the Paris metro was put into circulation, the birth of the poet Jacques Prévert… and it This is the year that Domaine La Rouillère was created.
The property extends over nearly 120 hectares, straddling the charming towns of Gassin and Ramatuelle, in the heart of the Saint-Tropez peninsula.
The name “Rouillère” comes from the river that flows through the middle of this property.
A rekindled passion
Among these hilly lands of forests and rivers, 47 hectares are devoted to growing vines with the greatest respect for tradition and sustainable agriculture. In 1998, Magali and Bertrand LETARTRE, as they like to say, “woke up the sleeping beauty” by becoming the happy and passionate owners of the Domaine.

Tradition & Innovation
A new wind then blew on La Rouillère: Magali and Bertrand created together a very just marriage between tradition and innovation. As such, a splendid 1700m² wine cellar was erected in the heart of the Estate: a real architectural jewel which houses technological treasures within it. Inside it, no less than 54 stainless steel vats and a huge barrel cellar have been installed, all in unparalleled hygiene.
A privileged land
The vineyard has been dedicated to 7 precious grape varieties
Grenache, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, Carignan, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah for red and rosé wines. Then Vermentino, Sémillon and Ugni Blanc for the white wines.
The plots of vines of the Domaine benefit from an exposure and a terroir which offer a perfect combination to produce wines of the Côtes de Provence appellation of very high quality. The oenological know-how associated with the latest innovations in wine production make it possible to produce light and tasty wines, appreciated by the most demanding palates.
